What Is the Agiloop Interview?

The Agiloop Interview is a robust, persona-driven discovery process designed to understand exactly what you are trying to build.

Instead of starting with a blank page or static form, Interview guides you through an adaptive conversation that elicits both functional and technical requirements through thoughtful, targeted questions.

Its goal is simple:

to turn your intent into clear, actionable plans.

Persona-Driven by Design

The Interview is powered by specialized AI personas, each with a distinct role.

Business Analyst Persona

The Business Analyst focuses on:

  • What the system should do

  • Who it’s for

  • Business goals and constraints

  • Functional requirements and behavior

This persona helps ensure the solution delivers real value and aligns with user and business needs.

Systems Architect Persona

The Systems Architect builds on the functional understanding to determine:

  • Appropriate software architecture

  • Frameworks and platforms

  • Integration patterns

  • Technical constraints and trade-offs

This ensures that the solution is not only well-defined, but also feasible, scalable, and maintainable.

How Questions Work

Multiple Choice with Flexibility

Each Interview question:

  • Presents multiple-choice options for clarity and speed

  • Includes a free-form input field for additional context

If none of the provided options fully capture your answer, you can:

  • Enter a custom response

  • Combine choices (for example: “A and C”)

  • Clarify nuances in your own words

  • Take the questioning in a totally different direction

This allows structure without forcing rigid answers.

Adaptive Follow-Up Questions

The Interview is fully adaptive.

  • Follow-up questions are generated based on your previous answers

  • No questions are fixed or hard-coded

  • The Interview dynamically adjusts its line of questioning as it learns more

This creates a natural, intelligent conversation rather than a static questionnaire.

Changing Your Mind During the Interview

Once a question is answered, you won’t be able to change a previous answer.

This is intentional — subsequent questions are based on earlier answers.

However, you are not locked in.

If you change your mind, simply say something like:

“I changed my mind about question 5. The answer is actually B.”

The Interview will:

  • Re-evaluate context

  • Adjust assumptions

  • Adapt future questions accordingly

This allows flexibility without breaking the logical flow of the conversation.

Using Interview for Existing Applications

When adding a new feature to an app that’s already onboarded into Agiloop, Interview adjusts its approach.

In this case, Interview may ask whether you’d like it to:

  • Suggest additional related features

  • Propose enhancements you may not have considered

This is optional, but often helpful for:

  • Discovering adjacent functionality

  • Identifying gaps or opportunities

  • Expanding ideas beyond the initial request

You always remain in control of what is accepted or generated.

What the Interview Produces

When the Interview completes, Agiloop INVENT uses your responses to generate:

  • Feature Bundles

  • Features

  • Stories

  • Functional specifications

  • Technical specifications

  • Initial estimates and work breakdowns

All output is editable — Interview creates a strong starting point, not a final mandate.

Why the Interview Matters

The Agiloop Interview:

  • Replaces blank pages with guided thinking

  • Bridges business intent and technical execution

  • Adapts as you think, refine, and change direction

  • Produces plans that are ready for real-world delivery

It’s not just a conversation — it’s structured discovery with intent.
