Keyboard Shortcuts and Navigation Tips

Working efficiently in Agiloop means spending less time clicking around and more time building great products. This article covers the keyboard shortcuts and navigation patterns that help you move through the platform quickly.

Keyboard Shortcuts

Open the Dashboard

Cmd+Shift+D (Mac) opens the cross-project Dashboard from anywhere in the app. The Dashboard gives you a high-level view of activity and metrics across all your projects, with sortable columns and the option to switch between gallery and list views.

This shortcut is especially useful when you are deep inside a project and want to step back and see the bigger picture without navigating through menus.

Launch Onboarding Tours

Cmd+Shift+F (Mac) opens the interactive onboarding tours. Tours walk you through key parts of the platform step by step and are useful whether you are getting started for the first time or exploring a feature you have not used before.

Note: You can relaunch tours at any time using this shortcut — they are not one-time-only. If a new team member joins your project, suggest they use Cmd+Shift+F to get oriented quickly.

Resizable Split-Panel Layout

When you open a feature, the screen divides into two panels: the feature list on the left and the feature detail on the right. You can resize these panels to suit your workflow.

To adjust the layout:

1. Hover over the divider between the feature list and the feature detail panel. The cursor will change to indicate it is draggable.
2. Click and drag the handle left or right to resize the panels.
3. Release to set the new layout.

Dragging the handle further left gives more space to the feature detail — useful when reviewing a long specification or monitoring a build. Dragging it further right keeps more of the feature list visible, which is helpful during planning or triage sessions.

Persistent Tab Selection

Inside a project, four main tabs organize your work:

• INVENT — AI-guided interviews and feature specification
• IMPLEMENT — Code generation, builds, and deployment infrastructure
• INSPECT — Analytics, user journeys, and metrics
• ITERATE — Goals management and technical debt tracking

Agiloop remembers which tab you were last on within a project. When you navigate away and return — whether by switching projects or coming back from the Dashboard — you will land back on the same tab you left. This means you can pick up right where you stopped without reorienting yourself.

Note: Tab memory is per-project. If you are working in the ITERATE tab on one project and switch to a different project, each project independently remembers its own last-used tab.

Status Filter Persistence Per Project

The feature list can be filtered by status — such as Backlog, Ready, In Progress, Blocked, Review, and Done — to focus on the features most relevant to your current work.

These filters are saved per project. If you filter a project's feature list to show only In Progress and Blocked features, that filter will still be applied the next time you open that project. You do not need to re-apply your filters after every session.

This is particularly useful for:

• Developers who always want to see only features that are queued or in progress
• Managers running a weekly review who filter to Ready and Review statuses
• Teams using the Kanban board who prefer the filtered list view alongside it

Additional Navigation Tips

Switching between projects is done from the project menu in the sidebar. The menu displays your current project and lets you jump to any other project you have access to.

The Kanban board offers an alternative to the list view for visualizing work. You can drag feature cards across status columns directly on the board, and columns can be collapsed to reduce visual clutter when certain statuses are not relevant.

Multi-select and bulk actions let you act on several features at once. Select multiple features in the list to move them to a new status, add them to a bundle, or export them — without opening each one individually.

Bundles group related features together within a project. Use bundles to organize features by theme, release, or team so the list stays manageable as your project grows.

Note: If you find yourself repeating the same navigation steps frequently, check whether a keyboard shortcut or persistent filter can save you time. The two shortcuts covered here — Cmd+Shift+D and Cmd+Shift+F — are the most broadly useful ones available across the entire platform.
