The feature list is your central workspace for managing everything your team is building. Whether you are triaging a backlog, tracking work in progress, or reviewing completed items, the feature list gives you a fast, organized view of your entire product.
What Is a Feature?
A feature is a discrete unit of product functionality — something your software does or will do. Features in Agiloop can range from large capabilities (like user authentication) to focused improvements (like adding a date filter to a report). Each feature can have an AI-generated specification, a work breakdown, estimates, and a build status, all accessible from the list.
The Feature List Layout
When you open a project, the feature list is the default view. Each row in the list represents one feature and shows key information at a glance:
- Feature name — the title of the feature
- Status badge — the current implementation status
- Estimates — story point estimates if they have been generated
- Bundle indicator — if the feature belongs to a bundle (a group of related features)
The list is ordered intentionally — you control the order through drag-and-drop reordering.
Filtering Features by Status
Features move through a defined set of statuses as work progresses. You can filter the list to show only features in a particular status:
- Backlog — captured but not yet ready for development
- Ready — specified and prepared for an AI build or human development
- Queued — scheduled and waiting to be picked up
- In Progress — actively being built
- Blocked — work has stalled and needs attention
- Review — built and awaiting review or testing
- Done — completed
To filter by status, select one or more status options from the filter controls at the top of the list. The list updates immediately to show only matching features.
Note: Combining multiple status filters lets you create focused views — for example, showing only Blocked and In Progress features to surface anything that needs attention right now.
Reordering Features with Drag and Drop
The order of features in the list is meaningful — it reflects your team's priority. To reorder features:
- Hover over the feature row you want to move.
- Click and hold the drag handle that appears on the left side of the row.
- Drag the feature up or down to its new position.
- Release to drop it in place.
The new order is saved automatically. Reordering is available in the active feature list and respects your current filter — if you are viewing a filtered subset, drag-and-drop reorders within that context.
Collapsing Done Features
Completed features can accumulate quickly and make it harder to focus on active work. You can collapse the Done section to hide completed features from view without archiving them. Click the Done section header to toggle it open or closed. This is a display preference and does not affect the features themselves.
Switching Between Active and Archived Lists
The feature list has two modes:
- Active — features your team is currently working on or planning
- Archived — features that have been removed from the active backlog but are preserved for reference
To switch between them, use the toggle or tab control near the top of the list. Archived features can be restored to the active list at any time if priorities change.
Note: Archiving a feature does not delete it. Use archiving to keep your active list focused without losing history.
Multi-Selecting Features for Bulk Actions
When you need to take action on several features at once, multi-select makes it efficient:
- Check the checkbox that appears on the left side of a feature row to select it.
- Continue checking additional rows to build your selection.
- A bulk action toolbar appears once one or more features are selected.
- Choose from the available bulk actions, such as changing status, moving to a bundle, archiving, or exporting.
To deselect all features, uncheck the items individually or use the deselect control in the toolbar.
Tip: Multi-select works well for batch status updates at the end of a sprint, or for archiving a group of completed features all at once.
